A 10+2 Vidyalaya with Science Stream at 10+2 level.

For continuous and comprehensive evaluation of the Academic performance of the students, three Unit Tests- one Half-yearly Exam and one Session-ending Exam are conducted in a session.

Apart from these tests and exams, the students of class X and XII are given two Pre-Board Exams. The Homework assigned and the Project work done by the students for each Unit are also evaluated.

Bright students and Slow-learners are identified in the beginning of the session on the basis of annual result of the previous session. Special attention is paid to the slow-learners and bright students. The special study material in the form of Booklets, Floppies, CDs, Model question papers and sample question papers, prepared by the expert teachers of KVS, is supplied to the students.

The dedicated teachers of the Vidyalaya take remedial classes for the slow-learners after the school hours. Extra study material and reference books are suggested to the bright students. The bright students are also prepared to appear in Mathematics Olympiad, Science Olympiad, Green Olympiad Examinations and National Talent Search Examination. The student are also motivated to participate in the KVS National Science Exhibition and KVS National Social Science Exhibition.

The Vidyalaya has a dynamic and highly vibrant Parent-Teacher Association. Parent-Teacher meetings are organised regularly after every test to discuss the ways for improvement in the academic performance of the students.
